Our principals are fully involved on every project. From conception of the solutions, through detailed documentation, and during construction, the engineer/owners are the individuals you will see in meetings and in the field. This continuity of experienced representation ensures a high level of coordination for our clients.
Brian Wallace, PE, LEED AP
Brian Wallace is a licensed professional engineer with 15 years of experience in the electrical engineering industry and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Florida State University. Brian’s project experience ranges from electrical system analysis, including fault current studies, protective device coordination studies, and arc flash studies, to electrical system design, including interior and exterior lighting, energy saving lighting controls, switchgear layout, and emergency distribution system design.
Brian has proven proficiency creating detailed electrical designs and he understands the importance of completing tasks on time and on budget.
Jon Barber, PE
Jon is a licensed Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Florida State University. Jon is a native to Tallahassee and he has 28 years' experience in the engineering industry. Jon is licensed in both Florida and Georgia.
Jon's previous experience consists of mechanical engineering with a primary focus on P&ID development, Pipe Stress Analysis, Pumping System Design and Analysis, and Multi-discipline Project Integration. Jon is a natural project manager and has managed large design teams spanning multiple companies, as well as, performing construction management for his projects.
Kevin Fleming, PE (Emeritus)
Kevin Fleming joined McGinniss & Fleming Engineering in 1995 as an electrical engineer with expertise in electrical distribution, emergency power generation, electrical control systems, lighting, fire alarm and other signaling systems. In addition to many completed design projects, Kevin has conducted a wide variety of engineering studies and code research efforts.
Kevin retired at the end of 2022. Kevin was instrumental in the business day-to-day activities and managed the office in a manner that allowed all employees to grow in their respective field. We are grateful for Kevin's leadership and the work ethic he has instilled in our office culture.
Peter McGinniss, PE (Emeritus)
Peter McGinniss is the founding principal of McGinniss and Fleming Engineering. Peter has 40 years of experience specializing in the design of building mechanical systems. Peter started MFE in 1991 and has led the company for 30 years. In addition to his corporate management role, Peter has showcased expertise in project programming, project management, mechanical systems, mechanical utilities, budgeting, and code application.
Peter retired at the end of 2021. Peter has built MFE into the highly respected company it is today and has provided the foundation with which the company will move forward into the future.
